About Eilika
Eilika is a smart agriculture application operated by Chhattisgarh Agricon Samiti for farmers, field staff, cluster coordinators, and authorized officers. The app helps monitor paddy crop activities, irrigation, pest management, crop interventions, training, farm visits, and carbon emission reduction related records.
Information We Collect
- Account information: name, mobile number, login ID, password or authentication details, village, block, district, and role.
- Farmer profile information: address, gender, land/plot details, crop details, sowing/transplanting records, and farming activity records.
- Agriculture monitoring information: irrigation status, water level, pest control, nutrient management, soil amendments, intervention plans, training progress, feedback, grievances, and visit records.
- Location and map information: plot boundaries, geo-coordinates, village/block mapping, and farm visit location data when required for monitoring and verification.
- Photos and documents: profile photos, plot photos, training photos, visit photos, consent documents, khasra or land documents uploaded by users or authorized field staff.
- Device and usage information: app/session information, basic device identifiers, logs, crash/error details, and OTP/SMS verification records needed for security and support.
How We Use Information
- To create and manage farmer, cluster, officer, and administrator accounts.
- To provide smart agriculture services for paddy crops, including irrigation, pest, water level, nutrient, and intervention monitoring.
- To support carbon emission reduction tracking, carbon program verification, reporting, and farmer consent management.
- To provide training, notifications, OTP verification, field visit coordination, feedback, grievance handling, and user support.
- To improve app security, prevent misuse, audit activity, fix technical issues, and comply with legal or program obligations.
App Permissions
The app may request permissions only when needed for app features:
- Camera and photos/files: to capture or upload crop, plot, visit, training, consent, and profile images/documents.
- Location: to mark farm plots, field visits, irrigation observations, and carbon program verification records.
- Phone/SMS or notification-related access: to support OTP verification, account security, alerts, and support communication where applicable.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only with authorized staff, service providers, technical vendors, government/program partners, auditors, or legal authorities when necessary to operate the app, provide support, verify carbon/agriculture program records, maintain security, or comply with law.
Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and access-control measures to protect user data. Only authorized personnel should access user records for permitted operational purposes. No internet or storage system is completely risk free, but we work to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide app services, maintain agricultural and carbon program records, comply with legal/audit obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the app. When information is no longer required, it is deleted, anonymized, or archived according to operational and legal requirements.
Account and Data Deletion
Users may request deletion of their account and eligible personal data through our Account Deletion Request page or by emailing sanjayyadav@cgagricon.org. Some records may be retained where required for legal, audit, security, dispute-resolution, government reporting, or carbon program verification obligations.
Children's Privacy
Eilika is intended for farmers, agricultural workers, field staff, and authorized program users. It is not directed to children. If we learn that personal information from a child has been collected without appropriate authority, we will take steps to delete it where legally required.
User Choices
Users can contact us to update inaccurate account details, request support, ask privacy questions, or request account deletion. Some app features may not work if required permissions are denied.
